Miso Ramen

Miso Ramen Ingredients:

  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 4 cups pork stock
  • 1 cup vegetable stock
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, sliced
  • 8 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 stalks green onion
  • 1/2 cup miso
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper miso
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 4 ramen noodles
  • 1 cup bean sprout
  • 4 stalks green onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds

Boil the Miso Broth and Ramen Noodles Separately

In a big pot, mix , ginger, garlic and green onion mix vegetable stocks, pork stock, and chicken stock and bring to a boil and then simmer for 20 minutes. Skim the foam from the surface occasionally. Add 1/2 cup miso and red pepper miso. Add white pepper. In a big pot, bring water to boil and cook ramen noodles. And just like any other pasta you have to stir it so that it doesn’t stick together.Serve ramen noodles in a donburi with miso ramen soup, bean sprout, green onion and sesame seeds. Add more white pepper as needed.
